I am a huge fan of Yoonsun Hur and delighted that she has delved in to designing stamps as well as creating with them! The sketch flowers design really suits Yoonsun’s style – seriously check out her stunning cards. This set is called Sketch Ranunculus and I sincerely hope she designs some more sets :D All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Give me a gorgeous flower to color and I will reach for my white embossing powder and watercolors! I stamped a few of the images from the set in a little group with Versamark ink on Arches cold pressed watercolor card and white heat embossed before delving in to my watercolor palette.
When dry I cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle, mounted it on a Fog card base and then added a white heat embossed sentiment on black card and a few sequins. I love this simple style of a pop of colored florals with minimal extra embellishments :D
Speaking of watercoloring, I’m still very much enjoying learning to letter and indulging my love of planners, stationery and pens at my Lime Start Instagram account. Today I had great fun playing for the first time with a Molotow masking fluid pen. You can check out the short video here :D

Thanks Cristina! I started instagram with the aim of improving my handwriting and then I find I hadn’t really applied myself to the task. Thoroughly enjoying doing that now :D
A very pretty card Debby. I am trying to learn to water colour and this may be a good way for me to try…inside the lines of EP. LOL
The EP lines certainly do help Teresa – the watercolor pools in the wells and you get lovely shading :D
Such a Beautiful card ! Never tried writing with watercolors ;) Loved yours a lot :)
Thanks Pooja! Loved that Molotow pen :D
Beautiful water-colouring on both the card and your journal! Your hand lettering is as wonderful as your card making :-) I have looked at they Molotov masking fluid – I feel very encouraged to try it now!
I was really impressed with the Molotow pen Janet and it’s a strong color so you can clearly see where it has been laid down :D
Your card is so pretty and I love that stamp set, too. I’m absolutely mad about your night sky watercolor! It’s awesome and I think I watched the video 20 times already. :-) Thanks for such a lovely post, Debby!
Thanks for the encouragement Dori! I love making cards and then ruin them with my scrawl on the inside so I’m on a mission to be happy with my message on the inside LOL
Love these! Thx Debby!!
