It’s time for the Clearly Besotted sneak peeks and what better way to start the New Year than with a bright and happy sweet valentine! These cuties are from the Some Birdy Loves You set due for release 5th January 10pm UK time. Now I doubt very much whether any bird in real life has this colorway but It makes for a happy card!

On a panel of white card cut with a Stitched Rectangle I stamped the scene in Memento Tuxedo Black using masking paper where needed to perch the bird on the branch. Then I blended in Sea Glass and Lake Shores inks to give a subtle blue hue and splattered with Winsor & Newton paints and Perfect Pearls before lifting the masks.

Once dry I colored with Copics, stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black, dressed things up with Zig Wink of Stella, Stickles and a few sequins.

The Clearly Besotted new release will go live at Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp on 05 January. In the meantime I’ll be back with more Clearly Besotted cuteness tomorrow!
