Stephanie has pulled out all the Clearly Besotted cuteness stops this month! I adore the owls in this punny valentine. I seem to be on a CAS kick for the new year so lots of white space on this card. I started by stamping the two owls from the Still A Hoot set in Memento Tuxedo Black and then using masking paper before stamping the branch from Cute As A Bug; extending the branch to the edge of the white panel with a Copic multiliner.

I then employed a fair bit more of the masking paper for a negative circle around the owls which extended to the edges of the branch. A quick blend of Sea Glass and Lake Shores inks added a touch of interest to the background and then after lifting the masks I colored the owls with Copics and stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black.

Sequins are still a big hit with me; no card seems complete without a bit of sparkle :D
