Gosh, December, and we are full in to the Holiday season. The start of a new month means the start of Clearly Besotted sneak peeks. Stephanie, the owner of Clearly Besotted is always generous beyond belief but in December she sends out product to the Design Team and then tells us we are too busy in December to make samples for her! Well when I saw the Joyeux Noel set, the wording just spoke to me and I had to make this card. The world is full of troubles at the moment, so this is my Holiday wish – Peace.

I should remember that really soft grey cards are lovely and elegant in the hand but so difficult to photograph especially with the dark, wet days we’ve had recently. However, I wanted to share this today as Stephanie is going truly dotty this December with eight dotty sets with matching dies and I wanted to show my support!

Fun right?! Well I took the Peace sentiment from Joyeux Noel and silver heat embossed it on a Stitched Rectangle of vellum. I overlaid this on another rectangle of white card stamped with Birch Background II in Fog ink to give a subtle birch background. I finished the sentiment by white heat embossing the accompanying words on Slate card.

The panel is mounted on a Fog stitched rectangle which in turn is mounted on a white card base. I added just a few sequins in silver and clear to finish.

Here’s hoping for a peaceful end to the year and on in to 2016.
