One of my most favourite dies is the Gift Card Envelope from Simon Says Stamp; combined with a Lawn Fawn pad of 6×6 patterned paper it makes short work of making Holiday gift cards pretty or for tucking in a few $ for those awkward teens! The cutest reindeer on the block were the perfect addition so those teens don’t get taken too seriously LOL.
I started out by cutting five of the patterned papers from the Lawn Fawn Peace Joy Love pad with the Gift Card Envelope. This pad of paper was in stock until recently but I guess with the Christmas projects it has sold out however there are lots of lovely Christmas papers available. Also included in the Lawn Fawn pad are sheets intended to be cut up as tags. The Stitched Tag from Pretty Pink Posh was the perfect size to trim these down and all I added was a bakers twine bow before popping them on the envelopes.
Meanwhile I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black the Reindeer from Mama Elephant’s Reindeer Games, cut them out with their matching dies and colored with Copics before adding a little Christmas Red stickles to their noses.
I added one Rudolph to each envelope along with a few sequins and called it done. All that was needed was cute gift cards such as this red foiled one from M&S (a UK department store) or of course some cash LOL.
