These reindeer from Mama Elephant are so cute and rightly were hugely popular when released. So much so that they were immediately out of stock! Well I’ve been meaning to get these guys colored and when I saw that they are back in stock at Simon Says Stamp I thought it the right time to color a herd of reindeer! I think there are 18 reindeer on this card although some of them you can only see the odd hoof LOL. This was such a fun card to make!

I started with a 5 1/4 by 4 inch panel of white card and using the Misti stamping tool stamped each reindeer from the Reindeer Games set twice in Memento Tuxedo Black to ensure a nice really black outline. I filled in a few of the gaps with candy canes, presents and the cute bird and then colored with Copics. Once all the images were colored I went around any remaining white space with a blue Copic to complete the background. When all the coloring was finished I accented the reindeer noses and baubles with glossy accents and Rudolph got Christmas Red Stickles :D This panel reminds me Xmas wrapping paper I would buy :D

I didn’t want to cover up too much of the panel so once it was mounted on a top folding white card base I simply added a white banner stamped in Versafine Onyx black with the ‘Happy’ from Circle Sayings Holiday and die cut a red glitter ‘Christmas’ using the Happy Winter word dies and called it done.
