Gosh the end of October already?! Well, it is certainly autumn here; we live opposite woods and the leaves are glorious and numerous!! Today’s watercolored fall wreath is inspired by some daisies in my garden which are doing their best to keep going despite the turn in the temperatures. I pulled out the Stitched Daisies die from Simon Says Stamp along with the Chisholm Wreath and some leaves from the Stitched Leaf Wreath.

Using Gansai Tambi paints, I loosely watercolored a peachy background; I think pinky peach skies symbolise autumn to me along with mists and low-lying clouds. Using the Chisholm Wreath set I also watercolored the twiggy wreath and from card I watercolored red, I ran the berries die from the set through three times to get lots of berries to dot around the wreath. Later when everything was adhered down I coated these in Glossy Accents, but I’m getting ahead of myself.

I watercolored the daisy and leaves and then trimmed a spare piece of watercolor card in to a tag shape and stamped the Hello Fall sentiment in Versamark and gold heat embossed. It was just a case then of adhering everything down with a combination of glue dots and foam adhesive and tucking some gold sequins in.

I’m playing catch up here this week with a few deadlines, but that does mean I will have several videos with the Online Card Classes over the next few months and also one for Simon Says Stamp soon too :D
