Hello, today’s post is part of a hop to celebrate Mama Elephant’s third anniversary! More on the hop below, but for now let’s have a look at this lovely Twinkle Towns set. The set comes with a tree branch and pine leaves, a bauble and two scenes for inside the bauble as well as a great brush script Oh Joy sentiment. There are also matching dies for the bauble with a die cut Oh Joy sentiment included.

I blended Sea Glass and Lake Shores inks into the top of a white panel and splattered with paints and Perfect Pearls solution before stamping the branch in Sparrow and the pine leaves in a combination of Beanstalk Green and Olive.

To get the vellum bauble with its stained glass look I stamped the bauble in Versamark on vellum and gold heat embossed and then stamped the mountain scene and white heat embossed. I die cut the bauble with the matching die and then turned it over to add touches of Copic color to the back of the scene. For the snow I painted on white enamel accents, again on the back of the scene, to give a good opaque white for the mountain tops and some of the lower slopes. Once dry the enamel accents also gave a good place to adhere clear foam adhesive to attach the bauble to the panel. 

To get a matching gold for the die cut sentiment I gold heat embossed some scrap card and then used the Oh Joy dies before again mounting with clear foam adhesive. I added a twine bow and some sequins to the panel before mounting on a Desert Storm card base.
