Gosh October already! I can’t believe how quickly this year is going by. Well, 2nd of the month means it’s time for the next Clearly Besotted release sneak peeks and oh boy is this one jam-packed! Hide you wallets as there are 13, or was it 14, new sets – a delicious bundle of stamps at any rate LOL.

I’m kicking things off with one of the small sets; Heartfelt Thanks has several flower silhouettes along with 3 vase images and a sentiment. So although it is one of the smaller sets it is still packed with options :D

I used the silhouette images to stamp a border using Versamark on Canson watercolor card and white heat embossing. The thistle image had me reaching for the purple hue in my Gansai Tambi watercolors and I blended that up into a teal sky – love these colours together.

There was the usual splattering of spare paint and Perfect Pearls solution before adding a sentiment from Fancy Sayings silver heat embossed on a vellum strip and wrapped around the panel.

Then all that was left to do was add a few sequins and mount on a top folding card base.

While playing with this set I had a scrap of Canson card left over so die cut a Rounded Tag and then painted Zig Clean Color Brush Markers directly on to the images before stamping on the tag. Another spritz of Perfect Pearls solution and once dry a splatter or Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine had this little tag sparkling. A gold heat embossed sentiment from Fancy Sayings, a few sequins and a little twine to finish.
