I should really title this post ‘blogging on location’! Just as we were heading out the door for a few days holiday the new Create Joy release from Simon Says Stamp arrived on my doorstep. This is a another jam-packed release of delicious goodies and as I was flying out the door couldn’t help but grab a couple of sets and some very basic craft supplies.

It has certainly been a reminder to me of creating with minimal supplies! Oh and a flash back to the My Mind’s Eye patterned paper I used to use as a backdrop to my photos. Love that paper still! I’m rambling again, but as with all new releases I find it helpful to see the release laid out so here’s the Create Joy release in full :D

In my minimal on-the-go supplies I’d packed Sea Glass and Lipstick Red inks so I used Sea Glass to add a little color to the bottom of a panel and then stamped the sentiment from the set in Lipstick Red. I then mounted the panel on the front of one of the new scored card bases made from Simon’s 120lb card stock – a great essential for convenient crafting while on location :D   I also packed my watercolors so I’m back tomorrow taking part in a hop to celebrate the new Create Joy release. I hope you will join me then :D In the meantime check out the Create Joy release and for more inspiration others will also be posting and using the tag #ssscreatejoy so you can find things easier :D
