Delving into the November Card Kit again today and this time it’s all about the gorgeous stamp set included; Apple Of My Pie. On watercolor card, I started by stamping the sentiment in Versamark and gold heat embossing then repeated the gold embossing for the apples and leaves. I cheated with this step and didn’t mask when required but stamped the images and then removed any embossing powder with a fine paint brush where it wasn’t wanted :D
I used my Winsor & Newton tube watercolors to lightly paint the images with some autumn colours and added the hint of shadows as if everything was placed on an autumn table. Then I added a light blue haze behind and some paint splatters along with a few in Heidi Swapp gold color shine too
To finish the watercolored panel I rubbed Tattered Rose then Gathered Twigs Distress Ink into the edges then mounted on the Kona Koffee card included in the kit. I used some Bazzill card from my old 12×12 stash to fold an envelope to tone too.
