Hello! I’m back home after our half term break away with the children. Lots of fun at an activity based centre and now I’m exhausted and looking forward to some peaceful crafting with the schools back LOL. I delved straight into the new November Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp – fabulous autumn colours from the Pebbles Harvest range. I wanted to create packaging for autumn gifts and cut three of the double-sided papers with a Pillow Box die.

The kit comes with a whole pack of Pebbles’ Harvest Chips and I picked out three sprigs to use on my packages. The chips come with a white edge around the images but I didn’t want to cover up too much of the packages so cut around the images before coating them in Ranger Multi Medium Matte and dunking in Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I left the berries and the part of the acorn free from glitter and added a thick coat of Glossy Accents.

When dry I used foam adhesive to adhere the chips to the pillow boxes which I’d wrapped with coordinating ribbon. For the first box I die cut a Nested Circle from Ivory card and added one of the Hand Made rubons and dressed with a bow. For the second and third boxes I used the kit stamp set, Apple Of My Eye, and partly stamped some of the words in Sparrow ink on Ivory card to trim into tags to add to the boxes. Again dressed with a twine bow each and then I added a few adhesive pearls here and there to finish.
