Sometimes we can take things too seriously, but the only thing this Warm Christmas Wishes set is taking seriously is a good laugh! Santa in Bermuda shorts and that penguin, oh he kills me LOL.
I started this scene by stamping the images with Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White card and die cutting with their matching dies before coloring with Copics. There’s some Wink of Stella on the hats and Glossy Accents on the sunglasses and tree lights.
To put things together I started by blending Duckling ink up from the bottom of a White card base and then cutting an Oval window frame out of a White panel to sit on top. I also added waves with one of the Border Waves dies cut from White card, blended with Lake Shores ink, covered with Ranger Multi Medium Matte and then dunked in a big tub of Distress Glitter.
Now that the scene was set it was just a case of adding the characters with foam adhesive and stamping the sentiment in Black. These guys from the Warm Christmas Wishes set just make me smile and I hope they bring a smile to you today too :D

I simply love your card. Santa in shorts is hilarious and that penguin with the sun glasses cracks me up. Santa deserves some down time…he works very hard..lol. Love the coloring .. bright and festive. And your design is great. Love the window and the waves. Wonderful holiday card…any time of year. With a different sentiment it could be used in the summer. Totally perfect stamp set for an Aussie Christmas Debby! This is a great card with a fabulous little beach scene. Except here in Aus we would say Santa is wearing his boardies – or board shorts. :) xx
