The new STAMPtember sets are flying off the shelves! The Lawn Fawn Merry Christmouse set I showed you the other day is sold out in record time, although a few of the stamp sets are still available if you are quick. So today I thought I’d share with you another Lawn Fawn winter set, Toboggan Together, in case you’ve missed out and still fancy some Lawn Fawn cuteness for your Christmas projects :D

Where I live the arrival of a good snow fall is greeted with great excitement by children and the air is filled with the screeches and laughter of snowball fights on the way to school. I wanted to capture that tradition in this card and started out with a snowy backdrop of a watercolor wash of Gansai Tambi paints on Tim Holtz watercolor card. I also splattered some of the paints across the scene and then added some fluffy snowflakes with the Falling Snow stencil and Wendy Vecchi white embossing paste.

For the critters, they are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White, cut out with their matching dies and Copic colored before foam mounting on a snowy hill cut with a Wavy Scallop Stitches die.

The sentiment from the set is stamped in Lipstick Red and trimmed into two pieces and again foam mounted.

I added finishing touches of Wink Of Stella to the Santa hat and Star Dust Stickles to the snow balls and ticked off another cute Christmas card done!

You can find the last few Merry Christmouse STAMPtember stamps and also this Tobaggan Together set over at Simon Says Stamp :D
