It’s all about the monochrome today with the new Altenew STAMPtember collaboration set, Layered Flowers! Hmmm, I may have taken the monochrome aspect to this a little too far with my photography LOL, it could almost have been converted to black and white. In real life, the combination of greys and silvers in comparison to the busy colourful world around is a peaceful reflection of the lovely shapes of the leaf image.
The Layered Flowers set has several flower and leaf options in the multi-step layered stamping style.
I took a panel of Neenah Solar White and stamped the base layer of the leaf in Fog in a random pattern across the panel. Then followed with the second layer in Cobblestone and the final layer in Sparrow.
I added touches of Star Dust stickles to the last layer to bring a little sparkle in to match with the Painted Hello die I cut out from DCWV glitter card and mounted on swirl of silver thread on a rectangle of paper vellum.
Finally, I added a couple of silver sequins and one clear one and then mounted the panel on a Fog card base.

Beautiful card! Love the subtle, monochromatic color!
I love this one. It’s so pretty.
Magical! Jo x
What an elegant card…just perfect.
Incredible I thought I loved the flower cards but yours is elegant and you have really raised the bar. Thank you for the inspiration!!
This is totally gorgeous.
I would never have thought to use a leaf stamp in this way, but it works just as a feather would have done.
Those ink colours are very pretty and perfect for stamping birds, I must get some. Hopefully I can find a stockist here in the UK.
