I’m flying in today with a very quick and easy card using a journalling card as the focal point. The October Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp has these gorgeous gold foiled cards from My Mind’s Eye and I was spoilt for choice as to which to go with. However, the glasses just won my heart; so on trend with the geek look :D

To accent the journalling card I used a couple of gold foiled chevrons from another journalling card foam mounted to accent the foiled hello and also I used the I See You stamp set to stamp a speech bubble in Hot Lips with a Galaxy Gold hello within.

The speech bubble is again foam mounted on the journalling card at the opposite corner to the chevrons to give balance.

The journalling card is then foam mounted over a strip of matching gold foiled patterned paper with a strip of My Mind’s Eye Pimento card adhered to the side for a pop of pink.
