I’m going to be posting twice a day for the next few days as there is so much crafty fun to share with you! Being the 2nd of the month means that it’s time to start looking at the new release from Clearly Besotted due to go live at 10pm UK time on September 5th. I seem to be using an ink blended background quite often at the moment but it’s a great way to give subtle interest to the main focus of the card. As for the main focus, I couldn’t resist these cute deer from the Woodland Kisses set. I mean, seriously, how adorable are these guys!
The fawn and doe are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and then I used masking paper over the fawn before stamping the tree stump. Everything is coloured with Copics before masking all the elements and blending in Melon, Lake Shores and Catkin inks into the background with a splatter of Gansai Tambi watercolours over the top. Oh and I also added dots of Copic to ground the area around the deer.
The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black above and then I added die cut Hearts from Red card with a covering of Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents on top.
Finally I wrapped the panel in Lawn Fawn twine and popped on a top folding card base.
Check out Stephanie’s blog for more details, lots of inspiration and links to the design team as well as one of my favourite crafters who is joining us as a guest this month; Yoonsun Hur.
