I must admit the mice in the Meowlloween Extras set from Mama Elephant might be my favourites. They are just so darn cute! An offset focal point and lots of white space on this card make me happy too. For me, setting a scene off centre draws the eye and creates a more interesting design and where ever possible I do try this technique.

I stamped one of the mice from the Meowlloween Extras set along with a pumpkin from the Meowlloween set and the banner from the Charmed set in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut out with their matching dies and coloured with Copics. I’ve a video coming up at the end of the month colouring more of these mice and pumpkins so keep an eye out for that :D I also stamped and die cut the speech bubble from the Meowlloween Extras set and the sentiment too on the Charmed banner. Isn’t that sentiment perfect with this cute mouse LOL.

As a backdrop for the scene I blended Lakeshores ink on the side of a top folding Neenah Solar White card base and then added the elements with foam adhesive. Really I should’ve added detail to the blended ink before mounting things on top so instead of splattering the card with a solution of Perfect Pearls as I usually do, I had to drop a couple of dots of the solution here and there around the scene instead. Finally I added a couple of sequins and some Wink of Stella :D
