Oh I do love a good shaker! Make it a balloon shaker and it’s even more fun LOL. I was inspired by these confetti filled balloons I saw on Pinterest along with the gorgeous script sentiment from the new Mama Elephant Birthday Wishes set.

I started out by blending Sea Glass and Lake Shores inks on the front of a white card base and lightly splattered with some Gansai Tambi watercolours in toning colours. I’ve picked up this idea from the fabulous Melania Deasy and I just can’t stop using this fun technique :D Once the inks had fully dried I stamped the greeting in Versamark and silver heat embossed.

All that was left was to cut a Balloon die from a panel of white card, back it with acetate and foam mount it on the card front where I’d added a gorgeous Phosphorescence sequin mix from Lucy Abrams. I finished off with a twine bow and of course a good shake-shake-shake test run!

You can find the new Mama Elephant sets at both Mama Elephant and Simon Says Stamp; check them out they are such fun :D
