Every now and then I love to pull out pencils on kraft card; they just go so well together! The Winnie & Walter Addies’s Garden set has great images for colouring; I stamped the flower in Versamark ink on Desert Storm card and white heat embossed. Stamped again on masking paper and trimmed out and adhered then stamped the leaf image and again embossed. I blend with Prismacolor pencils in the same way I do Copics – starting with a light shade, adding medium and darker shades and blending back out to the light shade again. I don’t have a large set of pencils so add more highlights and shading with the white and black pencils. When complete I cut the kraft card with a Stitched Rectangle.
I tied Lawn Fawn twine around the panel and then adhered the ‘hello’ circle from the Simon Says Stamp Butterflies set stamped in Sunshine ink and the ‘you’ from Neat and Tangled’s You + Me stamped in Versamark on Slate card and white heat embossed.
A few enamel dots and Studio Calico wood veneer stars finished the panel off which I then mounted on a White card base.

So pretty Debby. Thanks for the colouring tip re light to med to dark – I’m very much a learner with Prismas so any help is much appreciated:) Cheers!
Wow, I just love your coloring! The pop of teal on the leaves just brings everything else into the spotlight. Wonderful…
This is beautiful! I love the white embossing, it really helps the colors just pop off the kraft background.
WOW, I love all your cards!
