I couldn’t resist another card inspired by the work of Eloise Renouf to create this randomly scattered leaf background in green, grey, black and white. Starting with a panel of Fog card I stamped the solid image of the leaf from One with Nature in Catkin – this is one of the colours that I chose for the new The Color of Fun release from Simon Says Stamp and I love how it has turned out; sort of a chartreuse, yellow/green. The leaf outline is stamped in Smoke and Black before moving to Versamark and then White heat embossing a few leaves too.

I stamped the leaves again in Versamark on White card and White heat embossed before blending in Catkin and Smoke inks and die cutting with the matching Nature dies. These two leaves are then foam mounted on a Rounded Tag stamped with the sentiment in Black and a couple of enamel dots added to draw the eye.

Finally a little Black Twine and everything is mounted on a top folding Marshmallow card base. Clean, simple and I love those colours together!
