I’m well into the end of term build up now and I’ve got another teacher card to share with you :D I’ve been wanting to colour the little girl holding up the heart from Lila’s Heart for ages and finally managed to squeeze in the time. She’s stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut out with the matching die and then coloured with Copics. I accented the heart and her shoes with Glossy Accents (got to have nice shiny shoes for school) and her dress with the Copic 0 Blender Marker to give a gingham look. Here in the UK, summer school dresses are often made from gingham in the colour-way of the school. Out of interest, is that the same elsewhere in the world?
I thought it would be nice for Lila to be pinning her heart on the teacher’s blackboard so I used Desert Storm card stamped in Veramark with the Thin Stripes stamp from Impression Obsession and then die cut with the Lunch Box Notes die. On top of this I added a Stitched Square cut from Black Card, White heat embossed with the sentiment from Hey Teacher and a little extra White ink rubbed in around the edges to give the blackboard look.
I used a top folding White card base with a panel of Fog card White heat embossed with the Tiny Alphabet set then layered the blackboard and Lila on top before adding the Teacher die cut from Black card and a few enamel dots to finish.
I now need to think of some original teacher presents; any suggestions very welcome! Counting up the years clocked by my three at Primary School and I’m on the 20th teacher gift and the ideas are starting to dry up!

Wow!
What a great idea for this stamp set! Can’t wait till my grand-daughter is in school, so I can make a “teacher” card for her!
Here in the Midwest U.S., we mostly wear colored T-shirts to support our school – or university – or just about anything. But I think the gingham sun dresses would be awfully sweet! What do the boys wear…?
This card is a real eye catcher. I love the little people/children etc. cards. You put perfect touches on this and make it irresistible. Thanks
