Am I being too predictable? Clearly Besotted sneak peeks and I immediately head for the flowers, white heat embossing and watercolours! Still it is very much what makes me happy and I hope it brings a smile to your face too :D Before I jump into the details of this card a FYI that I will be peeking the new sets over the next few days and then they will go live at Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp on 05 May at 10pm UK time (5pm EST).

The jar and roses from the new Delightful Day set are stamped in Versamark on Watercolour Card, White heat embossed before colouring with Gansai Tambi watercolours. I added a water wash first then brought in the lighter colours and, when dry, accented with some deeper colours in the shadows. I also White heat embossed the sentiment on a Valentines tag cut from Black card and foam mounted over the jar. I dug through my paper stash and found some Lawn Fawn and Studio Calico papers that brought out the colours in the bouquet, hand trimmed them into banners, adhered and accented with a Twine bow.

Finally a couple of sequins balanced the diagonal flow of the card and then the panel was mounted on a Fog card base.
