I have really enjoyed colouring in the cracking images within the Hop To It! release from Simon Says Stamp. Take this fabulous girl from the Work Out set – so easy to colour and thoroughly enjoyable doing so :D I started by stamping her in Memento Tuxedo Black on White card and cutting out with the matching Exercise Girl dies. I prefer cutting out before colouring as I’m fussy about getting the image centred on the die so would hate to colour and then mess the die cutting up by a fraction. This way I know I’ve got a well cut image when I start colouring :D

Having finished Copic colouring, she’s foam mounted onto a collage of patterned papers and sentiment panel all cut with Stitched Rectangle dies. The sentiment is stamped in Soft Navy to match the papers and everything is mounted on a White top folding card base.

Finally, I added a swoosh of sequins and touches of Zig Wink of Stella clear glitter pen, which never shows up in the photos LOL but is lovely subtle sparkle in real life.

By now I should, if everything has gone according to plan, be journeying to meet up with a fabulous group of crafting women. I am so looking forward to spending time with like-minded people, having a good giggle and recharging my batteries :D I have the odd post to share, but things will likely be a bit quieter here for the next few days.
