When planning for the week, I’m happy to pretty much stamp and write in my planners without really worrying about things changing too much; I just cross out if needs be. However, when planning for a longer period such as over the month it can be handy if my planning can be removable/repositionable; as plans change I can lift and move things around. That’s where removable stickers, washi tape and frixion erasable pens come into their own :D
I’m using the Simon Says Stamp/Waffle Flower Planning Ahead set here; I’ve stamped images from the set on thin computer paper and punched them out with a circle punch. Repositionable sticker paper might be better for this but as I didn’t have any the computer paper with a little repositionable adhesive dabbed on the back did the trick :D My favourite thing to mark on a month spread are the birthdays I need to remember and the balloon image in Sunshine was perfect :D I added in music notes to denote the youngest’s party in Orange Peel, reminders to top up with fuel in Smoke, a note to make sure all the laundry is sorted for my trip away (Fern) and of course a day to pack and get ready (Maliblue) among other things.
Having placed the removable icons I then jotted underneath where necessary a note using a matching Frixion pen colour. These pens erase by rubbing them with the end of the cap so if my plans change I can erase and rewrite them; I keep a bunch of different colours in the Light Teal Craft Folio which matches my planner :D The final item I find very useful in a monthly spread are these MT washi tapes. They are thinner than normal washi and great for marking out trips and such and again, if plans change the washi can be lifted and moved :D
You can find my earlier post on how I use the new Plan On It! to map out the week here. I also use an extra add in for daily notes which I will share with you soon :D
