I thought I’d drop in today to update you on another way I’m using the new Simon Says Stamp Plan On It release. Our youngest has had regular stomach issues and after a recent trip to the Doctor it was decided that a food and wellbeing journal was a good idea. The plan is to monitor water, food, bedtime etc and if an episode occurs we will also look at worries and stresses. Hopefully keeping a full record will highlight any common themes or triggers.
I rummaged through my journals and found this Der Reisende Invite-L one with the right amount of space. I got busy with the Life Planning, Plan On It! sets and mini ink pads to create a simple layout for recording the required details. Who doesn’t like water glasses and tick boxes to check and hopefully being bright and colourful will appeal to a boy who would ideally be charging around doing something else LOL.
From the Plan On It set I used the ‘GOALS’ stamped in Coral Reef and the water glasses in Audrey Blue. From the Life Planning set are the lines and check circles in Fern and Orange Peel and they will track the recommended 5 fruit/veg a day. A Sunshine alarm clock will help us keep track of bedtime and finally stamped in black are ‘LUNCH’ and ‘DINNER’ to help split up the food recording.
Hopefully this food and wellbeing journal will help pinpoint the problem and get us back on track to a settled stomach :D
