When you aren’t on top form I think a cute card always makes you feel better! For this simple card, I used the adorable bear from Abby’s Spring Showers stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut out with the matching dies. I kept the Copic colouring light with only a hint of deeper colour to the edges. I also stamped cut out and coloured the flower-pot too so he was bearing (LOL) a get well gift to brighten someone’s day.
The bear is foam mounted on a white panel with a paper strip to add a little colour and cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies. I chose soft colours for the rest of the stamping; the hearts in Coral Reef and the sentiment in Smoke. A little American Crafts twine and then mounted on a Fog card base. I love how the soft greys and peachy tones give this almost a vintage feel :D
Before I go, there’s a few hours left to enter the giveaway for a spot on the next Online Card Class – pop on over here and leave a comment (not on this post) if you haven’t done so already and I will draw a winner tomorrow :D See you then!
