I keep turning to a colour combination of yellow, blue and red/pink at the moment and today is another example! I am desperate for some spring weather and these colours make me think the possibility might not be too far off. I was actually able to get out in the garden today for the first time in ages as finally the last of the snow has melted. I’m not much of a gardener but I do enjoy pottering around out there :D
For today I used one of the Stitched Tags from Pretty Pink Posh cut from Neenah solar white. The You Are A Star from Hero Arts (love the font work) is stamped in Sunshine ink and outlined with Star Dust Stickles. I stamped one of the cute Winter Sparrows from Lawn Fawn in Memento Tuxedo Black so it looked like he was standing on the star and then stamped the bird again onto a scrap of white, coloured with Copics, trimmed out and adhered to the tag which is threaded with some of the gorgeous American Crafts twine from the Basics collection.
The tag is layered over some randomly cut patterned papers from Amy Tangerine and Pebbles and on to a Neenah Desert Storm card base stamped in Versamark with the Thin Stripes from Impression Obsession set at a diagonal. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins and a couple of enamel dots to finish.
I will be back tomorrow with the first look at the new Simon Says Stamp March card kit. Here’s a sneaky peek :D See you tomorrow!

Cute card LOL
Darling card. I have that sweet birdie & will have to use him for more than a holiday card. You could come visit as we have had spring in place of winter this year. Loving it, but we will pay for it with the lack of water this summer. Thanks for your beautiful artistry.
Oh that sounded so nice with the warm weather until the bit about water. Hmmm, I suppose having seasons behave themselves does have it’s advantages!
Debby, this card is just precious!!!
I really enjoy read your posts and looking at your cards…
Great job ^^
Absolutely adorable, Debby! I love how you paired these different stamps to create this really sweet card!
