I was delighted when Tracey McNeely asked me to be the guest over at the Tag You’re It Challenge today! I picked out this holiday tag from a while back; I thought it would be fun to mix it up from classy/elegant/seasonal to cute/fun/birthday while still keeping the theme of animal, diagonal stripes, wording at the base, glitter strip and bling :D
If you’ve ever popped in here before then you know how much I love tags! Great achievable sized canvas to work on, works to tuck on a gift or as a focal point on a card – who doesn’t love a tag! For today’s tag I stamped the cute critters from Lawn Fawn’s Year Four in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah solar white, coloured with Copics and cut out with their matching dies. Next I cut a white tag with the Rounded Tag die from Clearly Besotted and stamped the sentiment in Black on the bottom. I cut a second tag from Lawn Fawn Let’s Polka patterned paper and snipped the bottom off and layered it over the white tag with a glitter strip to mask the join. The critters are layered on top with foam adhesive and a couple of Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish along with a twist of twine :D
That was quick and easy wasn’t it – that’s the joy of a tag, so achievable even when you only have a few minutes. Please pop by the Tag You’re It Challenge and why not make up a quick tag for the challenge yourself :D
