This stitched shaker card is a total CASE of the awesome Jennifer McGuire! Love that girl so much and I adore this shaker card she made stitching die cut shapes behind vellum. When I saw the new Clearly Besotted Bon Voyage set I thought this would be great for the skyline images in the set :D The London skyline is stamped in Versamark on vellum and heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Then I reached for the January Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp and the Bo Bunny Altitude papers and embellishments; stitching the vellum piece to a lovely aqua and purple paper and catching a piece of the banner die cut embellishment in the top corner.
The stitching trapped die cut hearts (Falling Hearts and Holiday Shapes) cut from Neenah solar white paper. The paper panel was then mounted onto the Bazzill Velvet card and then on a top folding Marshmallow card base both cut from the Card Kit.
The sentiment is again stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Liquid Platinum on a scrap of Marshmallow card, trimmed close and adhered below the banners with a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins and a couple of seed beads from the Shaker Shack attached with Multi Medium Matte to finish :D
Don’t forget to check out Stephanie’s blog for more inspiration and links to the rest of the Design Team and our guest this month Anita Bowden. The new release will go live at 10pm UK time (5pm EST) on 05 January when I will update the supplies list :D
One final thank you to Jennifer for being the best, an amazing source of inspiration and continuing to encourage our community to thrive <3
