Sorry for the scarcity of updates here at the moment. After my Mum’s visit the winter bugs really took a hold of me. I think there must be a really virulent little devil around as everyone seems to be struggling at the moment all over the world! However, I miss my creative time when I’m away from my desk so today I pulled out some Copics to give this little guy from Monster Hugs a go. I think the image is designed to balance a heart on his outstretched hand but as this is for a lad’s birthday I thought the great Blocked Greeting set was just the ticket :D The bright colours are enough to chase the blues away too :D The lil’ monster from Monster Hugs is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and Copic coloured before cutting out with the matching Monstrocity dies. There had to be wiggle eyes too of course :D

As for the sentiment, that is from the Blocked Greeting set stamped in Sunshine ink and cut out with the Greeting Blocks dies. Before adhering down I added splatters in Black and Pool to the card base and a strip of Sweater Weather patterned paper then foam mounted the two elements. A couple of enamel dots finish it off and keep it nice and boyishly CAS :D

One last thing, don’t forget there’s 25% off Copics at Simon Says Stamp at the moment if you need any supplies :D
