Pink, peach and gold with a hit of black make a great Valentines card colour combo and backdrop to the Sketch Heart die from Simon Says Stamp :D The watercolour effect is achieved by smooshing Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold Distress Inks onto an acrylic block. Squirting with a solution of Perfect Pearls and then dipping a panel of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolour card into the sparkly ink. While that dried I cut the Sketch Heart die from Neenah solar white card and the Sending die from DCWV glitter card. The accompanying sentiment from the Sending & Wishing stamp set is stamped in Versamark on Black card and white heat embossed before trimming into a skinny banner. Once the watercolouring was dry the panel was splattered with some Heidi Swapp gold color shine mist and again left to dry.
The Sketch Heart, Sending die cut and stamped piece were mounted on the panel with foam adhesive and Gold and Watermelon sequins sprinkled on top. The panel was mounted on a top folding Neenah solar white card base.
We’re not done with DieCember yet and Simon Says Stamp are offering a free wafer thin die when you order! Valid until midnight on 22 December use code WAFERDIE :D

Simply lovely Debby. Thank you for a year of fabulous designs and your generosity in sharing. I’m looking forward to the new Online class which I signed up for promptly when I saw you were a guest designer. I wish you and your family a blessed CHRISTMAS and a happy, healthy and successful 2015.
Gosh, the watercolor effect, the die cuts, splatter, just everything is soft and lovely, Debby. You know your technique perfectly and practice it with precision. Love the card.
Truly lovely.
Such a pretty card and the black accent would not have crossed my mind. Thank you for the inspiration.
