Wow, is it really a week since I last posted a project?! I’d not intended unplugging quiet so much, but I loved having quiet time with my family this Christmas. It was just the five of us and we chilled out, walked, explored new gifts and hobbies, oh and ate a lot of course! However, creating is such a part of me that it is never long before I’m making something!
I love the kite tail from Soaring For You, the one with just the single bow; I can see this being attached to so many things such as the tail of the cat from Quite The Pear today! Isn’t Mannie’s tail just perfect for hanging things on! The images are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah solar white cut with a Stitched Rectangle. I used Copics to colour and then stamped the sentiment in Black so it overlapped the kite. A cute cloud cut from Paper Vellum with the matching My Hearts Soars dies and a few Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins finished off the panel which is then foam mounted on another Stitched Rectangle cut from Lawn Fawn paper. Everything is mounted on a top folding Neenah card base :D
I spent quiet a long time fussing with this card; it isn’t innovative or new, but you know what sometimes it’s ok not to reinvent the wheel. This card got me back at my craft table, loving what I do and that is enough for me :D
As we resume some semblance of normality around here, I thought I’d leave you with a snapshot of a couple of days over the Holidays. A beautiful walk on Christmas Day along the edge of Loch Venachar (top left and bottom right). Even during the Holidays the swim runs kept going although they were given Christmas Day and Boxing Day off, but yesterday I stopped at a church (top right) to watch the sun rise over the valley below (bottom left). I so much enjoy being out and about with my camera :D

Very sweet card, Debby! Love the diagonal aqua stripes and the red is the perfect additional colour!

Happy New Year too Janet :D Yes the pool we use is just at the base of the Wallace Monument :D
Awww, I was just there this summer! My daughter was born in Stirling Royal (I don’t think it’s called that anymore. Have many fond memories of living in Stirling. We now live in South Texas, USA!
Your card is great Debby! I love the bright colors you chose, and the clean, simple design. Nicely done! :)
Thx for sharing pics of your beautiful country.
Another great card and beautiful scenery too.
Super cute card and gorgeous photographs, Debby! So glad you had such a nice, quiet Christmas with your family. Happy New Year!
A very warm card with such dear images and one can feel the love. Thank you also for including the photos. You are very blessed to have such natural beauty nearby. Breathe deeply!
Love this Kitty! I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite! Maybe the Wishing and Sending stamp set. Have family that live away from where I do and the ‘Wishing’ We Lived Closer, hit home for me!
This is such a cute card. I love cards with critters and Manny is very cute.
