Wrap, repeat …. wrap, repeat … on to the final stretch now! I was in need of some more gift cards though, so pulled out the January Card Kit to make use of those lovely Bo Bunny papers again. I concentrated on the blues and neutrals with these two simple gift card holders.
The holder on the left is a strip of 8⅛” x 4″ Fog card scored along the long side at 2⅞” and 6⅜”. I used the third largest Stitched Rectangle to cut the lovely Bo Bunny snowflake paper and added to the flap. The second largest stitched rectangle then fits the back of the envelope and onto the front (under the flap). I’ve found that the December Card Kit is a great companion to this kit and used the paper vellum and Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder from that kit to stamp with Versamark the greeting from Peace On Earth onto a Medium Tag. A little ribbon, button and twine treatment holds the envelope closed.
The holder on the left is very simply a Gift Card Envelope cut from more of the Bo Bunny papers, a RyLynn snowflake cut from glitter card backing a ribbon, twine and star. Even including the decision-making process, I don’t think these two gift card holders took more than a few minutes to put together – getting that to-do list done!!
Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit; Stamps – Simon Says Stamp peace on earth; Dies – Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangles, medium tag, gift card envelope, rylynn snowflake; Card – Simon Says Stamp fog, vellum, glitter card; Paper – Bo Bunny altitude; Embossing Powders – Ranger liquid platinum; Ink – Versamark; Accents – ribbon, Lawn Fawn twine, button, Bazzill star
They look gorgeous, I just wonder if you can do a video of how you process how to do the bow right and how you add the tag
Beautiful cards! Have a great Christmas!
Great creations! Would love to see a video on this. Thanks for the dimensions!
These do not look as though they were made in minutes! If this is effortless, I’m stunned. Amazingly pretty.
These are amazing! I can’t wait to get my hands on that January kit. =)
