November already? Wow we are charging towards Christmas at an incredible rate! I saw on Instagram that quiet a few people have snow already and yet here in the UK we are still unseasonably warm with the warmest Halloween on record! So this card might be more for my American friends; it uses the new Birch Trees set from Clearly Besotted. I love birch trees and delighted in stamping the three tree images on a Fog panel in Fog and Smoke ink; the grey-on-grey is so beautiful for these images. I overlaid the stamping with some embossing paste through the Falling Snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp and then die cut a glitter snowflake with one of the Snowflake Trio dies. a little twine, sequin and gems finished off the panel which is foam mounted onto a Marshmallow top folding card base.
The sentiment is from the new Winter Blooms set stamped in Schoolhouse Red just below the mounted grey panel. I love the new sets from Clearly Besotted! I know I must say that every month but this release is right up my street mixing classy and elegant with a few cute sets thrown in for good measure :D The new sets will be peeked on the Design Team’s blogs and over at Stephanie’s blog from 02-05 November and then the release will go live at 10pm UK time on November 5th. Hmmm, typing that out, Stephanie is going to have a busy bonfire night!
