I fell in love with this Hero Arts The Fox Says set as soon as I saw it. Impatiently tapped my fingers until it arrived and the day it did had a card and video made the same day! Yes, you did read that right – a video! I am now the proud owner of a makeshift contraption above my desk which means I can keep a camera there all the time and hopefully will remember to turn it on occasionally! In comparison, I previously used to get out a weird collaboration of boxes, chairs or stepladders to try and achieve something similar so I’m very pleased with the new arrangement :D
Anyway, back to the card. This nice and easy CAS design gives plenty of room for the cute focal point to breath. The foxes are stamped in Memento tuxedo black and coloured with Copics before using a post-it note mask to cover them and then stamping the foliage border in Olive ink. With the foxes covered again by the mask, I lightly blended in some Broken China Distress Ink. The sentiment is stamped in black on a die cut speech bubble from Lawn Fawn’s Into The Woods set and foam mounted above the foxes. Also foam mounted are a few hearts cut from Copic coloured card, die cut with the Holiday Shapes set from Simon Say Stamp. Coral twine is tied around the panel before mounting onto a top folding white card base. Finally, Glossy Accents was added to the hearts and the foxes noses and the foxes were also given a coat of Zig Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.
Here’s the video where you will see that not everything went to plan and I drew on a tip picked up from Jennifer McGuire to fix it :D

Gorgeous Debby – love the video, love the card, love your accent :)
I’d love it if you would shoot a picture of your “makeshift contraption above my desk” so I might get an idea of how to finagle something in my room, too! ;)
It’s very rough and ready Celia and involves wood clamped to two curtain poles in the room so that it crosses above my desk! I then have a monopod clamped to that so the camera dangles down.
Lovely card, Debby and thanks for a great video too. That set is now heading to the top of my wish list, Jo x
Great video- and I enjoyed watching you create the card. Love the copic coloring!
Lovely card! Thanks for sharing your techniques in the video!
