For my next Clearly Besotted sneak peek I thought I’d go to a card we all hate to make, and yet when we need one, we really need it to be just right. For this sympathy card I kept it very classical; when something works there really isn’t a need to reinvent the wheel. I used the timeless image from Brushed Poppies – it is very easy to stamp with both the flowers and stems coming as two images. I stamped the main flower image first in Pale Tomato and then the second shadow image in Red Royal. For the stems, the main image is in Soft Olive and the darker Forever Green used for the shadows. The beautiful scripted sentiment is stamped over the stems in Black. A couple of enamel dots and a gem to accent and then the panel is matted onto a Slate card and then onto a top folding Neenah solar white card base. Oh and the poppy centre is also stamped in black and then highlighted with a little silver Zig wink of Stella glitter pen :D
That’s me for this morning but I will be back shortly with a blog hop for the Simon Says Stamp new release; Cold Hands, Warm Heart! See you then :D

Astonishing card, Debby. A heartfelt show of care in a moment of pain. Thanks for sharing your immense talent.
