Wow, it’s going to be a busy week this week! Not only do we have the new STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp to celebrate but it is also Clearly Besotted Stamps sneak peek time! So many lovely new products, so little time LOL. However, I couldn’t resist stamping out this new Sew Special set as soon as I saw it. Which surprised me as I thought I’d be hitting the cute Woodland Pals set first, but this set really drew me in and I immediately knew that I wanted to white heat emboss the dress form on vellum and layer over some patterned paper. I cut the vellum with one of Simon Says Stamps Frames dies and cut one of the papers from Crate Paper’s Styleboard with the larger frame before layering over more paper on the card front.
There are lots of lovely sentiment options in the set, I combined the ‘you’re sew’ with some words snipped from one of the papers. I liked how it pulled a little more colour into the card. On that front I added a little hit of colour with a couple of pieces of washi and some sequins sewn on for interest. As a bonus that bit of sewing helped to attach the vellum to the other layers :D
So or should that be sew ;) I’m going to be back in a wee while with a hoppity hop for STAMPtember and for the rest of the week I think you’ll be seeing me a couple of times a day! The links for today are below, but the new Clearly Besotted Stamps sets will be added when they go live in a few days time on 05 September :D You will be able to find them at Clearly Besotted Stamps and also Simon Says Stamp.

Gorgeous card!
Gorgeous card – love when you emboss on vellum. Thanks
It’s almost daunting to be so (sew?) busy Don’t know how you manage and still run a household. That said, you’ve, once again, boggled my mind with your ability to layer so perfectly while adding judicious little touches, i.e., washi, sequins, stitching. I’m in awe.
