It’s still September right? So I can squeeze another STAMPtember release project in :D This Holly Berries collaborative set with Simon and Clearly Besotted is so darn elegant! There are two main images with separate add-ons; the pine branch with cones and the holly sprig with berries. I inked the Pine Branch with Distress Markers and stamped onto a Fog panel. Then inked up the pine cones (again with Distress Markers) and stamped those in place too – so quick and simple! I highlighted the image with a subtle vignette by bringing in a touch of Pumice Stone Distress Ink just around the edges. Then I accented the pine cones with a little Platinum Stickles and the pine needles with some Clear Wink Of Stella.
The sentiment is stamped in Versamark and gold heat embossed. Once I’d got all my images in place, I laid the Falling Snow stencil over the panel and selectively swiped Wendy Vecchi white embossing paste through the dots. I still love this stencil so much even though it is one from last year :D
Hang tight as this week is going to get a little CRAZY around here! I’ll be starting Clearly Besotted peeks from Thursday and then Simon Says Stamp are bringing out a new release on Friday! Oh I do LOVE this time of year so much :D
