I came to write todays post for this weeks CASE Study challenge and realised it was the last one of the month! I thought we had another week after this, but October will be here sooner than expected I guess LOL. So what are we up to for this week, well the inspiration is this winter wedding card I made a year ago today!
Gold, twine, embossing paste and a grouping of elements were the key features I wanted to play with. The Ornaments stamp set from Simon Says Stamp with matching Holiday Ornaments dies are so classy so I stamped the images in Versamark, gold heat embossed the ornaments and silver embossed the ornament toppers and then cut everything out with their dies. I also gold heat embossed the sentiment onto a Tiny Tag, the shape of which reminded me of the ornaments. The ornaments are strung with gold threaded twine and foam mounted over a panel on which I used the Swirls and Dots stencil and some Wendy Vecchi white embossing paste. The stencil pattern matches the largest of the ornaments :D
Well as I say, I can’t believe this is the last CASE Study of the month which means my stint as muse comes to a close. I want to thank Chupa for inviting me to play along this month and to just say what an outstanding job she does each and every week, month and year. It has been a pleasure to join the team again if only for a month. Please pop over to the CASE Study blog to see the awesome job the team do and I hope if you have time you might join in with us this week :D
