I had fun today with the September Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. The adorable papers in the kit are from October Afternoon and I absolutely love the patterns. Which is a bit weird because as a rule I don’t use a lot of patterned paper even though I buy lots of it LOL. Working from the Kraft card base up, there is the rich yellow paper die cut with one of the Frames dies, then the text paper die cut with the Wrapped Mailing Label set and then there is a touch of the blue spot paper on the bottom of the label which is again part of the Wrapped Mailing Label set. The label is cut from the Neenah Cream card included in the kit and then stamped with the ‘I like BIG BOOKS & I cannot lie’ from the To Thine Own Shelf set in Sunshine, Dark Chocolate and Lipstick Red inks.
Also on the label is one of the October Afternoon stickers included in the kit which just fit perfectly! Finally a little twine wrapped around and one of those awesome Teresa Collins wood dots :D
Well that’s me for today but I will be back tomorrow for a little CASE Study fun :D In the meantime here’s a look at the full September Card Kit.
