This is my second post as guest designer for The Alley Way Stamps this month :D The Pick One set has great solid flowers with a bunch of supporting images too. I wanted to let the bold graphic flower from the set shine so I stamped it on a Solar White tag in a lovely bright Sunshine yellow ink and then added the support images in more muted Sea Glass, Mint.and Fog inks. I used Stamping Mask Paper to mask the flower before stamping the other images. The sentiment is also from the set and I stamped that in Slate ink – I often prefer a sentiment stamped in grey than in black, particularly when the card has a softer feel to it.
Not only am I a tag addict, but I can’t stop with the sequins (Lawn Fawn and Studio Calico) and twine too! The finished tag is mounted on a Fog panel and then onto a Solar White card base.
Well that’s me for today. Hopefully having returned from holiday I will be blogging a little more regularly from now on. I hope so, although we are still in the school holidays until mid August which always throws a spanner in the works at some point!

I really need to pick up a good, versatile floral stamp set. This one is definitely in the running!
Just beautiful – once again. I don’t think you mention where the sentiment – prayer – comes from. Perhaps did, but I cannot find it. Anyway it is a fabulous card. You re inspiring on many levels.
Oh . . . Silly me. I have just realised that the prayer sentiment is part of the stamp set. How good is that? Please ignore previous email.
Oops Gillian, I normally try and say – slipped through the net this time but glad you found it :D
Gorgeous card, Debby! I love the color combo and the sequins are so sweet with this pretty flower and sentiment!
I love sequins but always struggle with making them look right on my cards. I love the way you manage to mix colors and sizes and it always looks fantastic. =)
