Welcome to Altenew’s second Blog Hop! Altenew is a relatively new stamp company that opened it’s doors last April. In a couple of days they will be releasing their second collection of stamps. All the stamps that you will see during the hop will be available for purchase at 9:00 am EST on Monday July 14th.
As soon as I saw the flowers in the new Persian Motifs set I was in love – such delicate lines and beautiful imagery.
I knew I wanted to white heat emboss them and then watercolour so I pulled out some Tim Holtz watercolour card and stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in Hero Arts white. I used the wet on wet technique of painting water onto a petal and then dotting in a pale colour wash and while wet adding in some deeper colour :D I love this soft effect but I can be tricky to photograph, however you can see it better in this photo.
The sentiment from the set is white heat embossed onto Black card and foam mounted with Lawn Fawn and Studio Calico sequins to decorate. Then the panel was mounted onto a Fog card base.
To celebrate their second release, Altenew is giving away five stamp sets of choice to three lucky winners! The winners will be chosen from comments left on the Altenew blog.
There is more! I will choose a winner from comments left on this post and the prize will be two stamps sets of your choice :D
You have until Monday July 14th 7:59am EST to leave your comments. You may enter up to two comments:
- Comment on the project, or the stamps.
- Like us on Facebook
The winners will be selected and announced on Monday July 14th at 9:00 am EST!
Now it’s time to hop on over to the most amazing Julie Ebersole! I’m a huge Julie fan, adore her style and her videos are the happiest ones on the block!
