I don’t really drink, just the odd one now and then, but my husband does like a glass of wine so this card is for him! I cut the wine glass out of some scraps of Bazzill card, I really can’t tell you which ones they are as I bought them a long time ago, I just looked for a full-bodied red, a sweet rosé and a crisp white LOL. The glasses are cut with the new Adult Beverages dies from Simon Says Stamp – so fun! And the sentiment from the matching Adult Beverages Sayings is stamped on Slate card in Versamark and White heat embossed.
Of course I had to fit in a few sequins :D those are from Pretty Pink Posh and Studio Calico. Which brings me, in a round about way, to another topic; have you seen the Iron Craft Challenges from Chaitali of Cuts Crops and Creativity? Currently running is an Iron Craft Challenge week whereby Chaitali has collated ideas suggested as part of her guest interviews into a series of inspiration.
I was so stunned to see that I was down as one of those inspirations after a question from Iwona Palamountain (Chupa) as to who would make a good muse for her CASE Study challenge! The theme of that inspiration for the Iron Craft Challenge is to take a person who inspires you and make a card. Well I have been a long time fan of Maile Belles (no secret there) and so I was inspired by how Maile combines a few card stock colours or ink colours in a fabulous clean and simple way. That and I love how the way she often splits her sentiment over a couple of card stock strips. Also as part of the inspiration pieces for the Iron Craft challenge is a Pretty Pink Posh sequin one based on Virginia Lu‘s question of your favourite embellishment. My love of all things sequin continues; see I got there in the end!

Such a fun card. Actually, it’s almost 5 o’clock (17:00 hours in the 24 hour system that I’m used to LOL) in my part of the world (Greece).
Loved the textured wine glasses !!
This is why I purchased this set. It’s so fun and cheeky. You, my girl, have outdone yourself. Since my man, as well, likes a glass of wine, I may just have to steal…er…CASE your card. Hope you don’t mind. Incidentally, love Chaitali’s Iron Craft. Think you’d be the perfect interview. I’d watch it and hang on every word. You’ve mentioned two of my faves, Virginia and Maile. Terrific artists and you are, too.
It’s NO SECRET that you are inspirational…YOU are the one to be CASED! I love how you make these wine glasses looking so gorgeous and tantalizing…5pm seems so very far away right now. I love how you perfectly placed each and every little sequins. You rock, Deb!
Your design and color combo on this card is just beautiful, Debby! And…the texture in the cardstock and those sparkly sequins really take this card to the next level! Virginia is right ~ ‘You Rock’ ~ This card is stunning!!!
