Debby Hughes - Lime Doodle Design - Simon Says Stamp with Lawn Fawn twine and Studio Calico sequins

Looks like my posting at the moment will be at best sporadic! Still I’ve had some fabulous family time – more on that below :) Back to today and this simple thanks card which is packed with some of my favourites. The panel is Simon Says Stamp Fog with a perfect pairing of white Wendy Vecchi embossing paste through one of the Balloon Pattern mini stencils. Then there’s the favourite yellow/grey combo I like to revisit on occasion – the two labels from Butterfly Friends stamped in Smoke and Sunshine, cut with the matching Butterfly dies and mounted onto the panel with foam adhesive. Of course there’s my love affair with twine; lovely loose, loopy twine and Lawn Fawn’s twine’s are just perfect :D

The finishing touch had to be some sequins – can’t stop using those at the moment. These larger ones are from Studio Calico’s atlantic collection and the little one is an older one from Kelly Purkey.

Back to our family weekend, we had such a lovely time in Yorkshire celebrating some milestone birthdays within the family. Lots of laughs, a little Pimms, lots of cake, a little sunshine, lots of hugs and generally good times :D I share these sort of photos on Instagram if you are interested :)
