Debby Hughes - Lime Doodle Design - Lawn Fawn stamps and dies

Hi there! A little while ago I bought a couple of the new Lawn Fawn sets and only now had the time to play with them. I do love to break out my Copics for some good old-fashioned colouring; nice and simple with 2 or 3 shades per colour to add a little dimension. The Lawn Fawn images are so cute that there really isn’t a need for anything else :D This card uses two of the new sets with their matching dies; Life is Good (with dies) and Chit Chat (again with dies). So simple to stamp the images on Neenah solar white card in Memento tuxedo black ink, cut out and colour.

For the background panel I broke out my Copic air brush system and gave messy squirts of blue copic for the sea with a smooth layer of lighter blue over the top then I stamped the wave image in Audrey Blue ink and added a little Star Dust Stickles accent. For the sand I again gave a smooth background yellow colour with the airbrush and then added lots of dots of similar Copic colours to give the sand texture. Everything was mounted with foam adhesive and then popped onto a Neenah solar white card base.

I do love a bit of cute as does my little one; I love when he sees one of my cards and lets out an ‘awwwww!’ and a happy smile :)
