This month the Clearly Besotted release was slightly delayed due to pesky postal delays, but that just means we get to indulge in a little bit of CBS goodness for longer :D
So today we are all up for a challenge and what a stunning inspiration Stephanie chose:
Isn’t that just stunning! Soft muted colours and beautiful flowers *sigh*. I was not only inspired by these but the colour blocking down the side. I reached for the new Diagonal Stripes set and coloured direct to the stamp with some Distress Markers, spritzed with water and stamped onto my favourite Tim Holtz watercolour card. I love the variation in colour and how some of the stripes bled into one another – so cool :) To go with this stripy background I white heat embossed and water coloured the gerbora from the With Love, die cut a little tag from Tag Along and stamped the ‘you’ and ‘me’ from Say It in Style. To finish I added a gold heat embossed and die cut ampersand from the new Monogrammed set along with a sprinkling of bling to go with it.
To get all the challenge details and see more from Stephanie and the rest of the Design Team then call by here. Also, before you go, if you didn’t get chance to buy before then there are still a few sets of the new release available at both Clearly Besotted Stamps and Simon Says Stamp :)
I’m back tomorrow with a guest post for Neat & Tangled and also there’s a Simon Says Stamp new release to indulge in too!
