Have you had chance to see the new Simon Says Stamp Pure Sunshine release? Seriously stunning! It’s as if Simon has decanted the essence of summer into craft supplies LOL.
I loved the hot colours I used on one of yesterday’s cards so I reached for them again today. I used one of the new Balloon Patterns to add a little Sea Glass highlight to the Neenah solar white panel. I don’t often stencil over the whole of a card so these scaled down stencils are perfect for me. I love the patterns that they have too :) Over the stencilling I added a little of the outline from the Cloud Bank die cut from Sea Glass card. On top of this I layered the fabulous sun from Bring the Sunshine stamped in Sunshine ink.
The lettering in the sun centre is stunning don’t you think? To highlight it I stamped it a second time and die cut out just the centre portion and popped it up on foam adhesive. It also made a great place to tuck a sequin between the layers too. To complete the lyrics I was singing out loud to myself I stamped the ‘my only’ from the set in Smoke ink and then added a due cut Sunshine in Candy Hearts card. I added a few more sequins and a couple of rhinestones to finish.
OK I’m off to play with more Pure Sunshine :D! In the meantime I will leave you with this beautiful peony.
