Debby Hughes - Lime Doodle Design - Clearly Besotted stamps & dies, Simon Says Stamp card and ink

Flying in again today with another Clearly Besotted Stamps sneaky peek! Love Blossoms comes as both a stamp set and a matching die set. Although the stamps are gorgeous I was influenced by the Watercolor for Card Makers class from Online Card Classes to break out my watercolours :) Well I say watercolours, I actually used Hero Arts sprays! I grabbed some Tim Holtz watercolor card and die cut the blooms, wetted them and then dotted on diluted colour from the Hero Arts sprays. A little diluted Pale Tomato with a dot of diluted Butter Bar in the centre.

While still damp I pushed the flowers into the cupped palm of my hand to give them dimension then added a pearl and a touch of Star Dust Stickles to the middle of each flower. I also used diluted Pool for a wash of colour behind the blossom branch. The branch itself is die cut from Simon Says Stamp Smoke card and I used the matching Smoke ink for the sentiment. Then everything was mounted onto a Fog card base :)

Don’t forget to pop over to Stephanie’s blog; she’s a card making machine at release time LOL and also there are links to projects from the rest of the Design Team too :)

I will be back tomorrow with more watercolour fun! Hope to see you then :D
