I’m joining Neat & Tangled again today for my last post as their guest for May. It has been such a joy to play with their gorgeous designs, in fact their blog is buzzing with lots of peeks of their new release – you really need to pop over and take a look :D For today however I pulled out one of their previously released sets; You + Me. This set has fabulous clean and graphic images and sentiments but I wanted to take things in a different direction and go softer.
Firstly I clear heat embossed the little line heart image from the set on Tim Holtz watercolor card and then inked the solid image from the set with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, spritzed well with water and stamped over the heart.
The sentiment is heat embossed in Wow platinum sparkle which has a lovely opulent sparkle. Behind the sentiment I added a little silver thread and also dotted some sequins around. Finally I squeezed a few puddles of platinum glitter glue here and there :D The panel was then foam mounted on a Fog card base.
Neat & Tangled is such a great company with awesome designs, thanks Danielle for inviting me over to guest!
Before I go I want to again thank you for your support of my Lime Light photography series. Yesterday’s post got a few comments on how clean and tidy my desk is so I took a quick snap of my desk while creating yesterday. I’m assured on Facebook and Instagram that this really isn’t that messy LOL but it’s just so you know my desk does not always look pristine :D Appropriately there’s some Neat & Tangled seeing some action there!
